Fresh upgrades just landed on San Pedro Street! 👀
From new thermoplastic crosswalks and reinforced concrete planters to artist-designed traffic barricades by local artist Eric Higuera, these improvements are all part of SJDA’s ongoing “Stitching Districts” initiative, creating safer, more connected, and more vibrant public spaces in downtown.
These updates also tie into the Sharks-inspired streetscape improvements celebrating Sharks Way, including the 100 painted sharks leading fans from San Pedro Square to the arena and six new crosswalks honoring the San Jose Sharks 🦈
Thanks to the City of San José and Asphalt Impressions for helping bring these projects to life.
