The San Jose Downtown Association’s Shop Small Downtown promotion was our way of thanking you for shopping local — whether it was at unique boutiques, cozy cafés, buzzing bars, or lively galleries.
Submissions are now closed, and we’re so grateful to everyone who shopped, dined, and explored downtown this holiday season. Your support makes a big difference for our local businesses!
How It Worked
Participants spent $150 at downtown businesses between Nov. 28 – Dec. 24, 2025, and received a $50 San Jose Downtown Gift Card.
One entry per person was allowed.
Each valid $150 submission also entered participants into the Grand Prize drawing for one of two $500 San Jose Downtown Gift Cards. Winners will be announced soon by January 9.
How Participants Got Rewarded
Participants collected receipts totaling $150+ from eligible downtown businesses.
They submitted their receipts and contact information using the form below. If they were selected as winners, a member of our team contacted them by January 9.
Their gift cards were emailed to them.
Rules & Details
- Limited to the first 100 qualifying submissions.
- Only receipts from small downtown businesses are accepted.
- Excluded purchases include taxes, tips, delivery fees, online retail purchases, gift card receipts, tickets to touring shows or Sharks games, parking fees, purchases from big chain stores like Target and Trader Joe’s, gas station expenses, and hotel stays.
- Participating businesses must be within the Downtown San Jose Business Improvement District.
